Laura Schmidt | Owner / Managing Director
Laura has worked in Sales and Marketing for hotels for over 20 years. Now based in Barcelona, she has lived and worked as well in New York and Argentina, and has developed different markets for new luxury hotels, start ups, and repositioning of existing ones, mainly in the US, South America, and key European markets.
She was Director of Marketing for the innovative and successful Park Hyatt Buenos Aires during 8 years and launched the Park Hyatt Mendoza. Owner of LPS Collection, her company handles since 2003 the Spanish, French, Italian and British markets for several luxury hotels, including the launching of FaenaHotel+Universe, Casa Los Sauces in Calafate, Hoteles Panamericano, Evian Royal Resort,Villa Padierna, Laticastelli and MJLSelect hotels, amongst others. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.
